Virtual Coming Together Conference 2020

Virtual Coming Together: Monday, November 2nd from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. This half-day virtual program will cover important topics on diversity, access, equity, and inclusion. Attendees can expect to attend sessions ranging from supporting vulnerable student populations to creating more knowledgeable and equitable work spaces. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in small break-out room discussions. We look forward to "seeing" you at the first ever Virtual Coming Together!*

12:30 - 1:30 pm: Session 1 - Tools to Examine Your Racial Lens Through Intersectionality

1:30 - 1:50 pm: Breakout Discussion Groups - Reflection and Processing

2:05 -2:55 pm: Session 2 -

  • Option 1: Test Optional: What does it really mean for students of color + low SES students?
  • Option 2: Doing the Work: Prioritizing Anti-Racist Learning (and Unlearning) in Your Office

3:15 - 4:05 pm: Session 3 - Helping Students Thrive: Supporting Our Most Vulnerable Students in Times of Crisis

4:10 - 5:00 pm: Session 4- A Critical Conversation: Misperceptions, Realities, & Implications of the Racial Wealth Divide

Early Bird Rate: $30 through October 26th

Regular Registration Rate: $40 October 27-30th
