About Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is chaired by the President in the fourth and final year of the Presidential Cycle. The Nominating Committee is responsible for soliciting and vetting a slate of candidates to serve as officers and Assembly Delegates for NEACAC. The Immediate Past President and Executive Director will sit on the Nominating Committee. This committee will also select the Professional of the Year, IDEAL, Rising Star, and William S. Neal Award recipients. The chair will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Awards Ceremony during the Annual Meeting & Conference. Responsibilities also include requesting an appropriate budget for committee activities and monitoring committee expenses in relation to the committee budget.
