About Finance Committee

The Chair is submitted by the President-Elect and is approved by the Governing Board. The Chair of the Finance Committee is the Governing Board's agent for organizing its financial affairs. 

The Finance Committee serves as support for the Treasurer and keeps an eye on the fiscal matter of the organization. The responsibility for the finances of NEACAC belongs with the Governing Board. The responsibility of the Finance Committee is to keep the Governing Board informed of its fiduciary responsibilities and long term financial plans, goals and investments.
